Qubool Hai actor Maitrik Thakkar joins Meghna Malik and Bidita Bag in their next

One such story is that of Maitrik Thakkar, an Ahmadabad lad who started his career as a model. His sleek physique helped him in modelling assignments. Soon, his passion and hard work made him a known name in media circuits and helped him bag a commercial opposite Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He entered the TV space and did a few daily soaps like Qubool Hai, Diya Aur Baati Hum, and Suvreen Guggal.

After his successful stint in the fashion and TV circuit, the good-looking actor will be seen in three movies as a lead.

As per latest updates, the charming Maitrik will join the cast as the male protagonist. The movie, titled Moksh to Maaya, will see Maitrik sharing screen space with Meghna and Bidita.

When contacted, Maitrik confirmed the news but refused to divulge any information. Nonetheless, he shared his joy and excitement over doing three big films as the lead. ‘I’m really in a happy phase right now. I couldn’t have asked for more.’

The actor talks about his ordeal while making it big. ‘I was supposed to do a show that never went on air. After that, I had to struggle every day to even get a single print shoot. I had to travel from Mumbai Central to Andheri for auditions. After doing so much, I finally had the budget to shift in Oshiwara.’

The actor finally feels that he is in a stable position. ‘It’s been a tough ride; however, hopefully, my story can inspire people.’

Maitrik will be seen in Naagin and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi director Santram Verma’s Satee Peh Attha, wherein his character will have dual shades. He will play the lead in Khushfehmiyaan with senior actor Nazzar Abdullah and in Moksh to Maaya. Both films are slated to release in August.
