Ninad has been roped in for Applause Entertainment’s Criminal Justice. The series will be produced by BBC India and directed by the very talented director Tigmanshu Dhulia. A close source reveals that Ninad will be seen playing a pivotal role in the web series.

Parvati Sehgal and Nivedita Bhattacharya in Colors’ Mughal-E-Azam

Talented actress Parvati Sehgal, best known for her performance in Man Ki Awaaz – Pratigya, has bagged her next meaty role! The actress has signed Writers Galaxy’s upcoming mega-budget show Mughal-E-Azam for Colors. Parvati will play the role of Salima, one of the wives of Akbar. Shaheer Sheikh has been roped in to play Salim. Senior actor Shahbaz Khan will play the role of Akbar. There are also rumours that Gurdeep Kohli has been cast as Jodha, one of Akbar’s wives.

Versatile actress Nivedita Bhattacharya will essay the role of Ruqaiya Begum, another wife of Akbar. She was last seen in TV show Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai.

Yash Gera in Zee TV’s Zindagi Ki Mehak

Actor Yash Gera, who entertained the audience with his role in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, will soon be seen on Zee TV’s Zindagi Ki Mehak. He will essay the character of Aarush and be paired opposite Shaurya’s (Karan Vohra) sister Smriti. The upcoming track will focus on Smriti with Aarush’s wedding. The actor has started shooting for the show.

The Indian adaptation of international series The Office is being launched by BBC productions; it will be helmed by director Rohan Sippy. Child artist Agasthya Dhanorkar, who rose to fame with the blockbuster movie Singham, has been brought on board to play an important role in the project.
