Mahima Makwana is awaiting her ‘double success’

Young actress Mahima Makwana’s tryst down South for her debut movie has been eventful and endearing!!
With the first trailer of her Telugu movie coming out, Mahima is being appreciated for her cute girl-next-door avatar, very much different to what she has done in Hindi TV so far.

As we know, Mahima plays the lead in the thriller Telugu movie, Venkatapuram, directed by Venu Madikanti. Happy Days fame Raahul Haridas plays the male lead.

The first trailer of the movie was released on 9 February, and within a day, the actress has gotten amazing response. The movie will be released in April this year.

Says Mahima, “I am excited, nervous at the same time looking forward to the release of my movie. The feeling is very different. I am happy that the response towards the trailer has been positive. On 9th morning, I was very quiet and did not realize when the clock struck 5 in the evening. Immediately, my social media pages were overflowing with responses, and I am happy that people have gone gaga about the movie. Especially in Tollywood, the trailer is supposed to be one of the bests, and there is already a lot of expectation. The director and Raahul, are very much emotionally attached to the movie as they have been working on it for three years now.”

Mahima continues to say, “It was a tricky situation for me to be in. Though I am an established actor here, this is my debut work in movies. So it was a lot more challenging for me.”

The actress will give her board exams (12th) this March, and is presently working hard towards it. “Yes, I have had a hectic schedule so far. I already have jitters for the release of my movie, but presently I am occupied in my studies. My boards are fast approaching, and I need to give it my best shot. I am sure of coming out with flying colours. I know for sure that I might not get much time to study in March, as I will be busy with the movie promotion. So I am utilizing this time to the fullest, so that I get to only revise before my exams. No matter what, I will have to attend my exams and do well.”

Mahima as we know rose to limelight with TV shows Sapne Suhaane Ladakpan Ke, Dil Ki Baatein Dil Hi Jaane, Adhuri Kahaani Humari.
