Devoleena Bhattacharjee–Yash Pandit, Rajesh Khattar–Sakshi Pradhan in Firestix’s next

MUMBAI: Just yesterday, business mortgage brought to you the exciting news of Vibhu Aggarwal’s new digital app Firestix. The subscription-based video on demand portal will stream original short films, web series, movies, and music videos.

One of their upcoming projects is Mrunal Jain and Madhurima Tuli starrer 26th January – A Fate Story, directed by Deepak Pandey.

In an exclusive talk with business mortgage, Vibhu confirmed that a short film titled Sweet Lie starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Yash Pandit will air on the soon-to-be-launched. This will be Bhattacharjee’s debut in the digital space. Not much is known about the project except that it revolves around a husband and wife. The duo has already completed shooting.

Yet another interesting short film called The Producer is in the pipeline. This suspense thriller will feature TV actor Rajesh Khattar and Sakshi Pradhan of Splitsvilla fame. The shooting for this project has been completed as well.

Both projects have been directed by Indian director Bhavin Wadia, who had directed Om Puri starrer Project Marathwada (2016). They will be among the first to be streamed on the app.
