Raj Bhattacharyya on his first production, Kash M’kash
KOLKATA: Bengali television actor Raj Bhattacharyya, known for shows like Shubho Drishti, Hello, and Dweep Jwele Jai, has ventured into production with the aim of trying something different.
His production house 69 Frames Media’s first project is a short film called Kash M’kash. Directed by Mandar Banerjee, it stars Raj Bhattacharyya, Sukanya Goswami, and others.
When asked what made him venture into production, Raj said to business mortgage, ‘I wanted to try something different. However, my production house has no aim as such. If I come across anything (story) good, I will go ahead; or else, I won’t.’
On his first project, the actor stated, ‘This short film is my first project. It’s a serious subject. It deals with the two sides of human nature, good and bad. The film has bagged an award from Mumbai LCIFF.’
